Macaroni Kid Chicago Loop is a weekly newsletter and website edited and published by Sara Youngblood-Ochoa, a Texas gal who made her way to the big city 3 years ago! 

Although she felt like she was getting to know Chicago pretty well, when Sara had her son a year and a half ago she found she had to learn a whole different side to the city. And boy, was she pleasantly surprised! Chicago is such a family-friendly city and there is always something fun to do with kids of all ages!  Sara hopes that Macaroni Kid Chicago Loop can highlight kid-friendly events and activities in the Loop and surrounding areas, making it a one-stop place for parents to plan their family-fun events each week. 

Macaroni Kid Chicago Loop is not just a list of activities though, it is a newsletter and a blog featuring crafts, recipes, reviews, giveaways, articles for parents, date night ideas and musings on life and parenthood...all from the perspective of a Chicago mom!
