Thursday, May 19 - Kraft Kids Concert at Ravinia: Dirty Sock Funtime Band

The Dirty Sock Funtime Band has been dubbed "the first real rock band for kids" by Fox News. Since 2005 the New York-based band has been heavily featured on the Noggin television program Jack's Big Music Show. Appearances on this wildly popular show have led to great success, and in 2006 the band won a Time Out NY Kids Readers' Choice Award for Best NYC-Based Kids Band.

The 'star' line-up includes Mr. D's Magic Show &Truck for the kids and a Will Rogers tribute by Lance Brown for the older adults.  Smoke Tribal Belly Dance Troupe returns to perform, along with other music groups and multi-cultural dancers who will take center stage in four different venues. Sunday, July 3 - Kraft Kids Concert at Ravinia: Ralph's World

As a one-man musical universe, the Grammy-nominated Ralph's World (starring popular Chicago rocker Ralph Covert) has impressed more than 100,000 families through Covert's musical releases. He teaches songwriting and children's music classes at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and is a visiting musician for arts programs in the Chicago Public Schools and the Lookingglass Theatre. He began his career in the early '90s as leader of the Chicago bar band The Bad Examples. With the release of All Around Ralph's World in 2010, Ralph's World now has nine CDs available.
