Review: Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca

As we all longingly wait for summer here in Chicago, I'm thinking about picnics, meals out on our deck and trips to the beach. As I plan those outings and meals, I also think about what would be most refreshing to drink on a hot summer day. I want something healthy that will keep us hydrated, but something more fun than water. Enter Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca Juice. Made with filtered water, organic fruit juice and organic sugar this is a drink I can feel comfortable giving my family. I was recently sent a few bottles of their Agua Fresca and they are so good. Lightly sweetened, organic, no GMOs, less sugar than regular juices and delish!

I shared the Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca Juice with our Summer Fun party guests this week and they were a big hit! Of the 3 flavors, Mango Passionfruit, Pomegranate and Grapefruit, no one could pick a favorite. Each has a light, fruity taste. The drinks are sweet but not syrupy sweet like so many juices and fruit drinks can be. Many folks at the party mentioned how refreshing these juices would be on a hot day!

Santa Cruz Organic has been around since 1972 and is always organic. They are also part of the Non-GMO project. They offer more than 50 organic items ranging from lemonades to apple sauce to peanut butter. The Agua Fresca juices are a perfect addition to their family of products!

Santa Cruz Organic products can be found at Whole Foods, Jewel/Osco, Mariano's and Target.
