Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms

GIVEAWAY CLOSED. CONGRATS TO COMMENT #5, JACKIE!

I'm a sweater.  Now, I don't mean a literal sweater.  I mean an emotional, mental sweater.  I worry about everything from world peace to raising a happy, confident child to what my son's preschool teachers must think of me when I send him to school in mismatched socks. I know I need to relax and just enjoy life more, but for a professional worrier it's hard!

That's why I was so excited to read Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms by Kristine Carlson.  Besides being a best-selling author, Kristine is also a mom so she speaks from experience!  Reading this book is like chatting with a good friend who has been there, done that!  She gently talks you off the crazy mommy ledge while giving you good, easy to follow advice.

I'm an avid reader, but since becoming a mom I can't read more than a page or 2 of anything before I find myself nodding off.  Luckily, Kristine Carlson knows that moms are tired and have limited time so she made each chapter short and to the point! Each night before bed I read a chapter or 2 and it gives me something to think about when I wake up and start my new day.

Reading this book reminded me off the things I am doing right, the things I need to stop worrying about and gave me loving suggestions on fixing the things that stress me out.

This book would make a great Mother's Day gift for a friend or family member.  But I recommend getting it for yourself!  As Kristine Carlson reminds us in the book, we can't take care of our families unless we are taking care of ourselves and this book will help you do just that!
