Busy, Busy!

November 4, 2010

The newsletter is coming to you a couple of hours later than it normally does.  For some reason I thought once Halloween was over, there wouldn't be as much going on and that it would take no time to get this week's newsletter ready.

WHAT WAS I THINKING????

Along with all of the usual Chicago activities (concerts, theatre performance, museum exhibits, etc.) the November/December holiday madness has already begun!  Check out This Week's Picks and Calendar--PACKED!  Then look at the Plan Ahead section--you could plan something for every minute of every day over the next couple of months.  Whew--I'm tired just thinking about it!

I'm still recovering from Halloween (see my little Dwight Schrute (from The Office) above) so I'm not quite ready to jump into the holiday spirit yet.  (Although the Holiday Window Unveiling at American Girl sounds pretty cool!) Instead we're going to spend Sunday at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre seeing Carnival of the Animals and Babar the Elephant.  Next weekend we'll think holidays! :)

On another note, I've shared my kiddo's Halloween costume and I'd love to see what your family did!  Head on over to our Facebook page and post your favorite Halloween picture.  Can't wait to see what you all came up with!

Have a great week!

Sara

P.S. Be sure to check out the recipe contest!  Can't wait to try out all of your yummy recipes!
