Materials Needed:
Construction paper, 8 1/2" x 11" or larger
fall colored tissue paper, cut into 1" shapes
craft or school glue
paint brush
wax paper
tape
scissors
Instructions:
1. Use an extra piece of paper or construction to draw an acorn, a leaf or any other Fall image. Cut out your pattern and trace onto 2 pieces of construction paper.
2. Cut the pattern out so it creates a window effect on the piece of construction paper. Cut the tissue paper into 1" pieces of various shapes.
3. Cut a piece of wax paper larger enough to cover the "window" of the construction paper when folded in half. Cover one "window" with half of the wax paper.
4. Thin out 1/4 tsp of glue with a couple drops of water. Paint the glue onto the "window" area of the wax paper. Place pieces of tissue paper, alternating colors, to cover the "window".
5. Fold over the second half of wax paper over the tissue paper and tape to secure. Tape the second piece of construction paper over the first and hang the masterpiece in a window.
