The weather may not always cooperate for outdoor play, but the city has plenty of options for indoor fun for children! Check out our favorite spots to get those winter wiggles out and connect with other parents and caregivers. I recommend checking out the websites to get the latest info on hours, class opportunities, and pricing before your visit - and it is a great time to complete any waivers in advance. Also, don't forget your socks for safe indoor play!

Chicago's museums are a great way to spend the day inspiring your family to learn more about the stars, art, history, or science. Many of them have dedicated spaces for toddlers and kids to explore and play in a hands-on way: Best of all there are plenty of opportunities to visit for FREE by going on one of their scheduled FREE ADMISSION days for Illinois Residents, or use your Chicago Public Library card and check out a membership at no cost. |
