The 2016 Chicago Walk to End Alzheimer's is THIS Sunday, September 25 in Montrose Harbor! It's a super fun, family-friendly, pet-friendly, FREE event to raise much-needed funds & awareness for Alzheimer's disease, the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S. Register for the Mac Kid Chicago team online.
More officially, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, held annually by the Alzheimer's Association in over 600 different communities nationwide, is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

No fundraising requirements, but if you do register and raise $100 in donations, you receive a t-shirt on the day of event. And there's additional swag at higher fundraising levels!

On September 25, Macaroni Kid Chicago will join with their friends, families and readers to walk in the 2016 Walk to End Alzheimer's. Macaroni Kid Chicago has set a goal of raising $2000 for Alzheimer's research and programs that support patients and their caregivers.
