Macaroni Kid Chicago is so excited because one of our favorite events is almost here! The 17th annual Chicago Toy & Game Fair (ChiTAG) takes place Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24, at Chicago’s Navy Pier (600 E. Grand Ave.) capping off the annual Chicago Toy and Game Week.
More than 30,000 attendees will attend the annual holiday where you can explore, test and play some of this year's hottest toys and games from over 100 exhibitors.
“ChiTAG Fair is Chicago’s original play experience,” says CEO and founder Mary Couzin. “This year, we’re taking the experience to new heights, launching the World’s Largest Kid-Powered Rocket, along with sneak peeks of some of the hottest holiday toys!”
Last year I took the whole family to the fair on Saturday and we all had an amazing time. Imagine a giant room filled wall to wall with games for the whole family to experience - and not just the classics you already know, but on hand are new games from inventors from all around the globe. We went in with the expectation of "just-looking" but we ended up purchasing some great games to put under the Christmas tree! Luckily the kids were so exhausted from the morning at ChiTAG they never noticed the extra bags under the stroller.
