Windy City Ninjas Opens in Chicago

New 10,000 square foot facility challenges ninja warriors of all ages

Exciting news for ninja warriors of all ages! Windy City Ninjas is a new 10,000 square foot gym with a variety of obstacles to challenge ninjas of every age (from age two up to adults). Conveniently located in Bradley Place near many other family-friendly destinations with ample parking, Windy City Ninjas recently opened to the public.

Windy City Ninjas offers 55 minute, weekly classes specifically tailored to the following age groups: Lil Warriors (ages 2 – 5), Emerging Warriors (ages 5 – 8), Ascending Warriors (ages 9 – 13) and Senior Warriors (ages 11 – 15).  All classes are designed to improve strength, agility, body awareness and confidence. Classes include multiple circuits and stations to keep the kids moving. The youngest, Lil Warriors, have a dedicated space with age and size appropriate obstacles and adventures. Adults will have access to their own dedicated classes and open gym time as well.

In addition to classes, Windy City Ninjas also offers open gym time, birthday parties, and corporate events.

My Mac Kid recently started classes at Windy City Ninjas and he is in HEAVEN! As a big fan of the American Ninja Warrior TV show, he could not wait to get into the gym and try out all of the things he has seen on the show. As soon as we walked in, he was thrilled to recognize various stations like the Warp Wall, the Spider Wall and the Salmon Ladder.

Now time for a little confession. We are not an athletic family. We are not even a terribly coordinated family, but the coaches at Windy City Ninjas (some of who have been American Ninja Warrior competitors!) are so supportive and do a great job working with each kid at their individual level. Each week my son improves and leaves feeling so proud of himself (and exhausted!)

Speaking of exhausted, while my Mac Kid is having a blast living out his ninja warrior fantasies, I love that he's getting a really great workout. Each class makes him stronger and more confident. I look forward to watching him grow and learn as he continues his class at Windy City Ninjas!
