Fine Arts Camp is...
A camp designed for 3.5 - 13 year olds. Students spend the hours from 9:00AM - 4:00PM in visual art, music, dance, and theater classes. Students will be split into groups based on ages. Music House is dedicated to creating a camp environment that is supportive, encouraging, and focused on each individual campers creative abilities. Our goal is to have fun while inspiring young artists to create and enjoy their day off!
Music House supplies all instruments and supplies. Parents supply lunch and snack. Music House is 100% nut free.
Camp is 9:00AM - 4:00PM, with the option of early drop off at 8:00AM and late pick up as late as 5:00PM.
A Typical Day at Fine Arts Camp:
8:00-9:00: early drop off students in instrumental music lessons
9:00-10:00: Theater Class
10:00-11:00- Rock Band Class
11:00-12:00-Violin or Ukulele Class
12:00: Lunch
12:30: Free Play Recess
1:00-3:00: Visual Art Class
3:00-4:00: Dance class
4:00-5:00: late pick up students work on creative art projects
Every Day is Different at Fine Arts Camp:
Each day students will engage in new activities that will build on the previous days learning. In rock band class, students will focus on and acquire a foundation of one instrument of their choosing (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or vocals). In violin class, students will learn from the Suzuki violin method. In ukulele class, students will learn to strum and sing songs in which they are familiar. In theater class, students will build confidence through experiencing the stage. At Music House, we believe the best way to learn is by having fun first! Every day at camp is fun and new.
Fine Arts 2017 Summer Camp Pricing:
- $375/week and $290/week for each additional sibling.
- Half day option (4 hours or less per day): $275/week. $85/day.
- Early drop off and/or late pick up is $10 per each additional hour needed. If you drop off before 8:45am, a $10 fee applies and if you pick up after 4:15, and additional $10 fee applies. Camp officially starts at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm.

Music House Fine Arts Camp Teaching Staff:
Music House camp teaching staff have degrees in art, music, dance, and theater. They are all background checked by the state of Illinois. There is one lead counselor each day who supervises camp from 8:00AM-5:00PM and 3-4 teaching artists each day who provide exciting, learning-based activities for students.
Cancellation Policy:
7 days prior to a CPS day off camp to receive refund and no cancellations accepted for Summer Camps.
