Mac Kid Bakes: Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer

Mac Kid Review

By Sara Youngblood-Ochoa, Macaroni Kid Chicago Midtown May 20, 2017

My Mac Kid loves puttering about in the kitchen. Me? Not so much. All the various tools you need, the time commitment and the mess! UGH! The mess! Recently I was asked to try out the Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer and I discovered that you CAN bake without a ton of tools and without a big mess. Heaven!

The Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer is pretty much all you need to whip up a yummy cake, a great batch of brownies, some awesome pizza dough or in our case, delicious blondies! The mixer includes a 5.5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl, a splash guard lid (LOVE!) and 3 different mixing tools - a chef's whisk for lighter things like meringue or whipping cream, a dough hook for breads and pizza doughs, and the flat mixing paddle for cakes, cookies, and brownies.

We were able to combine all of our ingredients in the stainless steel mixing bowl and then let the flat mixing paddle go to work mixing it all together. I picked the speed we wanted, turned it on and then we just stood there and watched. My lazy little heart is in love!

The Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer is super easy to use and thanks to the splash guard lid, my Mac Kid was able to help me add ingredients without making a big mess. I love how something as simple as a lid has taken the stress out of baking for me!

Once we were done, we were able to sponge down the mixer and toss all of the other accessories in the dishwasher. Easy peasy! I think I may have discovered a new love for baking thanks to the Cuisinart Precision Master 5.5-Quart Stand Mixer.

Want to try out the blondies? (You do!) Check out the recipe here. Enjoy!
