Macaroni Kid Chicago Midtown is hiring! We are looking for a Mac Kid reader for a part-time ad sales position.
What does the job look like?
- Sales & marketing assistance with seasonal & short-term projects
- Event assistance (optional)
- 5 - 10 hours per week; some weeks will have more hours than others
What are we looking for?
- Macaroni Kid fan
- Team player
- Local parent who KNOWS the area and actively enjoys our area's community events, activities, and businesses
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter, self-disciplined, entrepreneurial, likes to own projects of your own (read: TYPE A)
- Tech-savvy
- Someone with kids. (We occasionally get extra tickets to shows, and most are for families with younger children.)
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or commensurate successful work experience
- Active on social media
In this position, the person will need to...
- Use email, phone calls, social media and business visits to build relationships with local businesses
- Work with publisher on ad campaigns
- Research businesses and their needs
- Put together ad campaign proposals
