Jump Into a New Year of Fun!

Altitude Trampoline Park Opens Its First Urban Location

By Sara Yaniga, Macaroni Kid Chicago (Midtown) December 14, 2018

I spend a better part of my week watching my 2-year-old jump.  She jumps on the couch, on the bed, down the steps, across a path of pillows or across the living room carpet, but her favorite place to jump around is on the large trampoline in her gymnastics class.  Twice a week she attends a "Parent & Tot" class thru the Chicago Park District and while she loves everything about these classes, her favorite is the trampoline.  Every now and then I consider hopping in a Zip Car and driving the kids out to one of the suburban trampoline parks - but the threat (promise) of traffic always keeps me from going thru with the plan.  Luckily now I don't have to think twice about it!

Altitude Trampoline Park, a cutting-edge trampoline facility and activity center, opens its doors to Chicagoans next week. Altitude Chicago will feature state-of-the-art trampoline entertainment as well as a variety of activities such as Wipe-Out, Basketball, Dodgeball, Rock Wall, Foam Pit, Trapeze, Kids Court for toddlers, and a parent lounge for adults.

Altitude Chicago is located at 404 North Armour Street, in the heart of Chicago’s easily-accessible West Fulton Market neighborhood. With its prime location, over 33,000 square feet of play space and high-quality attractions, Altitude Chicago is well suited for toddlers to adults, and is the perfect entertainment venue for birthday parties, corporate team outings, school events, social groups, sports teams or just plain jumping around!

“We are excited to partner with Altitude to bring Chicago its first and only indoor trampoline park,” says Altitude Chicago Partner Amanda Elman-Kolb. “Raising a family in Chicago showed us the need for another community-focused activity center in the city that would suit a growing family’s interests.”

Chicago is an important launch market for part of Texas-based Altitude Trampoline Parks because of the city’s urban density and desirable demographic.

“Altitude sets the standard in trampoline family entertainment,” says Curt Skallerup, President and CEO of Altitude. “We are the leader in our industry in customer service, cleanliness, safety, and in growth potential as we support all our franchise parks from every angle. We are thrilled to be opening our first city location here in Chicago.”

Altitude Chicago serves kids ages two and up and is suited for adult activity as well. Pricing for Altitude Chicago starts at $16.95 for an hour of open jump and birthday parties start at $229 for 10 people.

To celebrate its Grand Opening, Altitude Chicago will be hosting an open house event on Sunday, January 13 all day long and will feature toddler music time, local food vendors and more! For more information about the event, park opening and pricing please visit http://altitudechicago.com/.
