Calling all creative Chicago students!
Put your passion for art and food together to create a unique design for the 2019 Chicago City Markets Reusable Bag Design Contest, sponsored by COUNTRY Financial. The top design will grace 11,000 reusable bags used by patrons of the 2019 Chicago City Markets managed by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and will be on display May 9-17 in the lobby of the Daley Center (50 W. Washington St.).
The top three student designers will receive a scholarship from COUNTRY Financial:
- $2,000 for the winner
- $1,000 for the first runner-up
- $500 for the second runner-up
Contest Instructions
The theme for 2019 is “Growing a Green Future.” In order to be considered, artists must follow the theme and include the phrase “2019 Chicago City Markets” within their design.
Contest winners will be announced Thursday, May 9, at the Daley Plaza City Market.
Deadline to Enter
All entries must be submitted to the address below no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, April 8, 2019.
