Day Camp Options for No School

Chicago Public Schools are closed for the second day in a row and here are some great alternative options for your kids!


  1. Stages & Buddha Belly Kids Yoga have teamed up to offer a day camp at the Menomonee Club on days of no instruction. See details here: https://www.stageschicago.org/day-off-school Ages 5 and up from 9:00am to 3:00pm
  2. Wishcraft Workshop will offer their Make a Day of It Camp from 9:00am to 3:00pm and offer after care (until 5pm) as well.  To register please visit: https://wishcraftworkshop.com/day-camp
  3. Chicago Fire Soccer in the Community will offer a day camp for all experience levels!  Sessions include morning, afternoon or full day and are for ages 6 to 14 years.  You can secure a spot here: https://chicagofirefc.sportngin.com/register/form/915661475
  4. BASH xyz (Building Active/Social Humans) is offering a POP UP FUN Creative & Movement Day Camp for grades K through 2nd and you can register for a spot by visiting: https://www.bash.xyz/daysmile
  5. Kidcreate Studios (Lakeview) has sessions at 9am and 12:30pm for kids ages 4-9 years old at their Southport location.  Spots are limited but the camps are fun! Grab your spot here: https://kidcreate.com/lakeview/calendar
  6. Harold Washington Cultural Center is offering programs for grades 5th through 12th from 9am to 2pm.  Please contact Events@hwccchicago.org to register.
