When A&A BALLET’s unique take on Sleeping Beauty debuted in 2019, it was received with rave reviews and starred a recent Youth America Grand Prix honoree. In fact, since then almost every performance by A&A BALLET stars a number of North American and International competition winners. Since 2016, the prestigious ballet school and company has had roughly 60-70 Grand Prix winners, First, Second and Third Place Prize winners at the various elite competitions globally available to ballet dancers. A&A’s spring performance of Sleeping Beauty Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Athenaeum Theater will highlight its most recent internationally acclaimed and award-winning dancers and program.

Who: Ballet company, A&A Ballet, was founded in 2016 by Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik. Both are distinguished dancers with experience as former Founding Artistic Directors of the Joffrey Academy of Dance and the Joffrey Studio Company. “The Art Deco Nutcracker” is Kremnev's 11 full-length ballet. His work has been presented at the world-renowned Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Lincoln Center in New York, and the Opernhaus Zurich in Switzerland, among other prestigious venues around the globe. Both Kremnev and Reznik have been recognized as Influential People in the Arts in Cincinnati and have received multiple awards for their leadership.
