Founded in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kids’ Work has been providing the highest quality child care available since 1978. We are a family owned operation that thrives under the direct supervision of a dedicated mother daughter team. We believe that children flourish when provided the opportunity to explore, interact, question and create within a rich learning environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child.
Our centers are located just off the East Bank of the Chicago River within the city’s North Center neighborhood. Each building has free, off street parking available for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. We operate very securely with individual family and staff pass codes to enter the building, thus keeping the children very safe while simultaneously making sure families feel welcome to enter the building at any time during operating hours.
Inside, you’ll find individual classrooms for every age group, multi-purpose indoor play spaces, and a private, secure outdoor playground. Our two facilities are extremely similar, each with their own dedicated director and offering infant through junior kindergarten programming. We offer small class sizes and low teacher to student ratios (infant 3:1, toddler 4:1, preschool 7:1) and can accommodate full or flexible part time scheduling.
