Description
The Lights Festival promises TWO days of free, family-friendly activities, leading up to the beloved tree-lighting parade on Saturday evening, November 23. Grand Marshals Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse from Walt Disney World illuminate more than one million lights on 250 trees along the route!
Family fun continues throughout the day at Lights Festival Lane on Saturday, November 23 from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, including live concerts on the BMO Harris Bank Stage.
The parade steps off at 5:30 PM at Oak Street & N. Michigan Avenue, traveling south on Michigan Avenue to Wacker Drive. The Lights Festival draws to a grand conclusion at 7:00 PM with a spectacular fireworks display over the Chicago River at Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive.
Tune in to the a one-hour television broadcast of the Lights Festival parade on ABC 7 Chicago on Sunday, November 24 at 6:00PM. If you can't watch then, check your local listings for repeat airings nationwide through the holiday season!
