Description
Kids and families can see what Northerly Island's nature play space is all about. Staff provide guided instruction on how to use common kitchen tools like micro-planes and peelers to convert sticks and branches into works of art, build simple toys, survival tools and more. Each program date staff will provide instruction on making a different kind of simple toy, tool, or artwork.

Nature play is a fun way for your child to build skills, feel empowered and practice creative problem-solving. Staff will be onsite to provide instruction and facilitation.
This program is best for families with kids from 6 - 12, but all ages are welcome.
Family Nature Play events are free and take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Children must be accompanied by an adult who is registered in this program.
