Young artists learn to create fearlessly at Lillstreet Art Center as they explore a variety of media including painting, comics, movie making, photography, pottery, sewing, printmaking, metal-smithing and more! Campers are presented with projects that develop critical thinking skills, enhance creativity and build confidence. Kids and teens are encouraged to discover their own artistic interests while refining technical abilities. The techniques we develop at Lillstreet do not stop here; campers use their new skills artistically, interpersonally and academically for years to come. Each young artist is welcomed into the studio as an individual with a unique voice to share. Kids are taught to prioritize on the process of making art over the end result. Most importantly, Lillstreet fosters a relaxed and non-competitive environment and everyone has lots of fun! The camp curriculum and guided learning experiences are thoughtfully designed to maximize creativity. Camp sizes are kept small and taught by dedicated, professional teaching artists. Lillstreet Art Center offers early morning drop off and aftercare options to accommodate for a range of schedules all summer long. | |||
